D2 Software has updated their site with Nuke 4.0 information. They dropped $4000 off of the price. Now it's $5,995
Coincidntally, I just received a reply to an inquiry I sent to D2 back in December asking about a free/educational version. Sadly, there will be no free version and, appearently the educational version will only be available to educational facilities, not induviduals.
