View Full Version : selecting multiple objects in object manager

ive just updated to 10.5 and ive noticed that now when i try and select multiple objects in the object manager..holding SHIFT...instead of selecting just the objects ive clicked on it now selects all the objects between the two last objects i selected in the list..how can i change this very annoying thing happening?

try using CTRL?

Which version have you updated from? It's been like this since 8.5 at least. Ctrl enables you to select objects one by one while holding shift allows to to use a marquee selection.

hm i missunderstood then, well holding shift adds objects normaly to selection if i use marquee selection but clicking with shift always worked like that afaik...

hello..i had 9.6 and it wasnt like this..i could pick individual objects holding 'shift'....thanks for the help though:)

hi..it seems to be different to how it acts here..very odd..
This behaviour was introduced in R10 to be more in line with OS shortcuts.
