wow, looks cool man, scared the crap outta me. U did a good job on the blinks but just subtle movement in her Jaw would make her more alive. Or her teeth could be chattering or some movement other than the blinks. U could keep the same subtlety.Cheers - Modi.

i would really want to know what she's staring at, because it must be very very scary!
the mood is creepy, you've done that well :surprised
here's a suggestion: at some point, make her stare directly into the camera ;)

My imagination says she's staring into some horrible scene that keeps replaying in her mind.
My only suggestion would be to make more of a build with the eye movements. What I mean is, make them more frantic as the scene goes on and maybe add a breathing cycle as well.
I like it.

First of all, great stuff...
It's of course unjustified to critic a work which has so much going for it. There is a convincing emotion, the modeling is great and it's filled with lovely little details that add so much to the scene. Lighting is beautifull etc. etc.
And than there are these tiny details, you woulde be a real sourhead to discuss them, but then again that's probably why you posted the animation in the first place.
The hair, even though it has been modeled so beautifully, has a bit of a weird movement to it . Th bit near the head seems to move in the same direction and speed as the ends of the hairstrings, which gives the idea that the hair is floating a bit like a loose wig. The mouth could just do with a touch more movement, maybe a slight swallow. That would add to the fear in the eyes.
Of course there is no doubt I am being an extreme knitpicker in saying this, it's a great animation.

Holy Goat!! That WAS scary!!! The sound is perfect...And also that it seems like she's sitting all alone there, just her and the guy driving the train...ANYTHING could happen...The eyes...brrr...she's def. staring out in the blue, thinking of the deformed and distorted creature she saw in that empty dark basement at the mental hospital...
Could be something for Silent Hill :)

if its all black and you get sound, you probably just need to download an updated codec... Try DiVX.com...
As for the animation... wow...

Ooohh... creepy! But what IS she staring at? Is there a story behind it, or is it one of those storyless scenes which are meant to turn on your own imagination?

excuse me while i get the hairs on the back of my neck to relax...ok. Well man I loved it. It gave me the impression that she was replaying something horrible in her mind that happened before she got on the train. I didn't get the feeling that she was looking at something on the train. I think that some heavy breathing that starts softly but slowley increases as she reaches the climactic point of her memory would add to the illusion of her being alive.
Again, great work man.

very nice, very scary.
might want to make her flinch whe the light hits her, making it more of a scary moment.
once again, really nice.

My impression is that shes not really staring at anything, physically...like said before, she looks like shes replaying something in her mind
My fave part is when the light highlights the bottom teeth...for some reason that looks really cool to me

One of those things where you want to set your media player on repeat and feel like your staring at the same horrific sight, whatever that may be................creepy.:buttrock:

I think it's better to think that she is like that for absolutely no reason... seems cooler that way.
She's a crazy person I tells ya :surprised

I think she's just remembing what she did last night... And now she's heading home to catch up on some much needed sleep.
Thanks everyone for the comments!!!
first let me clear the idea behind this scene. actually Beholder and
Gavin_G said it much better then i ever could:
"My imagination says she's staring into some horrible scene
that keeps replaying in her mind."
"shes not really staring at anything, physically...like said
before, she looks like shes replaying something in her mind "
>That's exactly what i wanted to achieve!<
Seconed thing, about her mouth. i agree with all the commets
about it. i should do some movement with her mouth and actually
i did some tests but none worked good i think.
there are some good ideas here which i must try, tough
(modi, UnlikelyCorny - Thank you)
majestic, Great idea about her staring directly to the camera!
i must do it!
Beholder, also great idea! (i must do it also :) )
UnlikelyCorny, thanks for the feedback!
you're right about the hair looks like a wig. i noticed that myself.
it happens because there are different areas of each group of hair and for some reason their movement acts differently...
torbjorn, :applause: THAT'S GREAT LOL :applause:
Thank you so much! :)
mccordia, thank you! i defently influenced from "Reqium for a Dream" :)
ee01akk2, it's probably like recycleBin said. get DIVX 5
Wiz, recycleBin, R.L.M, Kel Solaar, I animate, idvah, Mackan, DAbuel, Thank you!
ToastMan, Thank you! like said: storyless. i wish i had the time
to develope a story... :/
Bryan Silva, Thank you! you just gave me great idea on how to connected this scene to other scenes i did. GREAT. 10x!
kole, Thank you! GREAT IDEA!
Boxcarwilli, avalon, melicion, jocko, Thank you :applause: LOL

Aside from the freakish details and animation, you've really stirred up a few chills here. This is fall nicely in with Doom 3 or Silent Hill. You captured "fear" not gazing as I see it. The only other thing that needs work is the hair, but as it stands it's damn nice.

really creepy ,
one suggestion if you really want to freak people out , she should look at the camera in the last second :D
Thanks again everybody!
psyop63b, before d/l you should disable programs like DAP, Godzilla, getright etc... when you click the link, a new window
should come up with a link, click on it. i think that's it...

Hey M_Orlich. sorry for the late respond. i missed your message.

Really liked this one. Reminded me of a zombie flick. Kind of like she was watching some crazed monster eating her husband. Or maybe its me...

ahhh, Max. I made the decision to go with Maya a while back and am having trouble getting decent results with any hair techinques I've found. Thanks for your reply though. Keep up the good work bro! Maybe I'll try exporting my model and see what happens. Although we all know what a mess that can be. :)
