I would say he's just dressed a bit ambigious. Would not worry about it. Keeps in a bit of suspense.

I think the problem is his hips and his shoulders are just about the same size. Men usually have smaller hips then shoulders, neh? Also women's hips are rotated slightly more forward then men, iirc.

The chars needs work - too crude... the tribals are great :)

Thanks for the answers, i'll continue the char l8er, time to animate it for my short, ambiance will be very dark so the modelling will do the job for what is needed. I concentrate more on envirronments. Maybe i'll post the short here when finished, june 7th will be the date.
