These are my first mattepaintings done as a concept art for future film

Some critics would be nice.

I'm guessing these are just concepts for the moment? will the final mattes be photoreal or slightly stylised?

Interesting style and lighting, all seems a little wacky (in a good way) Seems to be a few scale issues between the two. Also the top one, a little hard to read in areas, cant read the right side very well, and the ruined house, didn't quite realise it was ruined to begin with. Needs the opposite side painting in a little. The bottom painting, again looks interesting, the far house with lights doesn't seem to work for scale and perspective. Also the road the car is on looks to be passing the house, its confusing, whether or not the road continues to the path or if indeed this is a path that leads up to the house, might be an idea to connect the two. You need to center the frame up a little, pull everything to the left and loose the far left, seems without use.

hope that helps a little :)

Dave.

You help me alot!

It was supposed to be wacky :), and this are concepts for general atmosphere so i dont think there will be final mattes( actually second part of project will be photoreal but only some parts of actual frame)
On top one i am currently changeing some areas, so ill update this page, eventually.
About bottom, you are right, but if you ever been to a small village, like in Serbia, you will notice that houses looks like they dont follow rules of perpective( but anyway i wanted to distord it to be more of "caricature")
I am watching your portfolio while i am typeing this, man you are great.
Thanks for C&C.

I don`t have much to add to what David said, just that the ruin on the left side of the top image could be a little bit more wacky in a similar perspective to the other one. I really dig your style.

I agree with everyone else here. But I do have to say that I am also really enjoying your style here. Keep up the good work :D
