phobos 05-28-2003, 08:11 PM This image symbolises the complexity of the human soul. Good feelings, bad feelings, guilt, happines, sadness. All these things are tangled and consist the soul of the man of today. The main colours of the image are dark with just little bright colours to show that sometime in our lives we make the correct decisions.

Going for Abstract expressionism there? You should check out some work my Jackson Pollock if you're into this kind of art.
That piece is very depressing. Going by the description you gave for the piece, the black represents sadness, guilt, and all the bad feelings we create, and the color represents the good in life. It's sad to know there would be so much black, and so little color.

Maybe I was in a bad mood when I created it so that's why has so many black. But seriously that's what I think happens in real life. It's full of bad feelings that create the bad moments and what keeps us alive are some small good moments (that are created from our good qualities) that rejuvinates us and keep us going.
As you know we always tend to forget all the bad moments after years and keep only the good feelings-moments alive. When we look back on our past years we never talk about hatred, or everything that was bad. We tend to makes things beautiful even if they weren't. Why is that? It's the only way to say and protect yourself that you lived a good life.
This piece at least for me symbolises the truth in life. People have many bad feelings or qualities on their personality that just know how to hide with their oh so little good attributes.
I sound a very sad person but I'm not.
Anyway if english was my native language I could have explained it accurately and much better than I did now.
