View Full Version : Alternative way to model a head
Kataro-Miamoto 07-22-2008, 03:00 PM Hi all, its a little study to model a head from a sphere in blender, (Tutorial from book, Mastering Maya 3) it's a sphere with de botton polys deleted, for mouth and the top sphere is top head. an little inclination and a litle work i can shape the sphere into a basic head shape.

Wow what a cool technique currently I've been getting really serious with modeling in blender and I'd like to know if this technique is easier than point-by-point, or Box modeling...

It's essentially the same as box modeling only you star out with a more rounded form and a good set of loops in place.

Yah its shame box modeling :) but with a good base with good edgeloops. U can explore may ways to make heads, example next screns are same base model but with little mesh variations.
