hello all,

I got a relative simple question. Is it possible to rendere a fluid in an other fluid?
what i mean is i made a 3D fluid box with no emiter just filled with bleu ( underwater ocean )
in that i made an other 3D box with an emitter from object. ( the object is an acnhor)
I want dust to go up when the anchor hits the ground. everything looks good.
when i render the anchor with the dust but without the blue it looks good.
but when i make the blue fluid visible i cant see the dust any more.
Are these render settings or fluid settings?

thnx in advance

DARN... i see i posted in rendering in stead of dynamics... srry

Not sure if this will help, but take a look at the "ink in water" tutorial at Duncan's blog at Autodesk:

well i dont know what went wrong.. but now it renders correct :D

only i have a new problem. when i render the scene i see teh 2 fluids.. only the fluid of the anchor has only some movement at the bottom of the box. But when i render tho whole box is filled and you see it lightly in the ocean. the wierd thing is when i press 4 to see the mode where you can see the dots. i only see the dots around the anchor and no where else.
So my question is how is it possible that i still can see the whole cube.. http://forum.xazax.com/uploaded/187_1216736205.jpg
