View Full Version : Pen pressure setting and brushes

hi, this is my first post here. I am quite new to painting...or painting seriously so i have many questions... :) hope you dont mind!

Here are my first 2:
I was looking at a tutorial and the guy mention that he used the Pen Pressure Control for Opacity Jitter and Flow Jitter. The link is:

I'm using corel painter X but cannot find where to set the pressure control? As I am struggling to getting to know know painter (i've got lots of experience with photoshop) I am tying to find a simple brush to start with, one which blends well and smothly; his example show exactly my problem. When i try to blend (without blender) it looks like the first image...i want it to look like the second...

Also, is there any way of creating a new window with favorite brush presets. or are there shortcuts you can create. I find me wanting to switch between brushes quite often....its not a big deal thou

Try Ctrl+B and you should find it there.
