View Full Version : Vehicle: Ferrari Enzo and Environment (for Expose)
FrageNSTEIN 05-28-2003, 02:51 PM Here is a 3200x2400 picture of my ferrari enzo in an environment I made. I had 2 questions for you guys:
1. Does it seem good enough for Expose yet?
2. Does the rail on the wall on the right look funny? Should it be removed?

hey I'm not a car exspert but yu might want to add some imperfections to a spec map for most of the stuff in your scene and on the car as well this will help it look more real and less perfect... just a thought
other than that A+

Hmmm, thanks... I think I will mess with the spec some on the rocks and stuff, but I might leave it alone on the car body itself.

hey, pretty nice
few suggestion u might think about
Mayb do a better job on the front grill.
Better textures for your headlights.
Play a bit more with the reflection and material of the car for realisum.
Keep it up

Hey FrageNSTEIN, good job on the modeling.
Yeah the rail on the right seems alittle funny and could be removed. If it didn't look like it was going right into the windshield it might be better.
A couple of other things. One, the parting lines in the front seem really strong, and second the blury background image is not the greatest, its too blury. You would be able to see some detail of buildings and such.
Is the ground supposed to look like it just rained? If so wouldn't the car also be wet?

Your modelling has cme on somewhat. :)
Couple of points
Theres some poly scrunching that shows at that res, around the bottom of the headlights and the lower front of the side grilles.
The fit of the door looks rather odd near the windscreen.
The environment doesnt seem that feasible and in many ways , to me, detracts from the model rather than compliments it. Good work. :)

My only problem is that most of the lines, or creases were metal goes together looks alittle wide...and needs to be closer, anyone notice this also?
:edit: Also, the tires look to bright, and they are as "round" and smooth as they should be on the outside of them... darken them up just a bit and smooth them out more

Well honestly drew, the picture sucks.
It looks too fake, you need to completely redo the entire thing man.

From what I've seen so far, perfection will not be good enough to get into Expose :scream:
I like the modeling, although the tyres seem low poly for some reason and the materials need work, I like the composition/camera angle but I don't like the blur in the background. Yes, the standard is extremely high here, and even with a fine image like yours we all like to find faults...oh well

Looks stunning man! I wish my Enzo Deville could at least be like yours!
Excellent work, then!

the place where the outside mirrors meet the mirror supports is not very good, and the rail should be taken out.
