View Full Version : Tutorial: Creating Maya set driven keys in MotionBuilder

Hi everyone, I recently had to figure out how to make a similar set driven key setup from Maya in MotionBuilder and figured out a solution.

Note this is a simple example/setup of how to create a set driven key from one object to another but it illustrates it can be done.

At work here, we were able to write our own MEL and Python scripts to automate the whole thing. I hope to post these up as well for your use, which were inspired by Jason Park's python scripts.

Please leave any feedback or questions. I wrote this when I was tired so I hope I didn't skip any steps or left out any information.

I was just starting to figure this out when the stuff Jason did was passed on to me.
