nice work!! The only thing that looks weird are the coaches? Maybe a different angle would help? But other than that, nice textures, and great lighting. What program did you use? A wire would be nice too

good work!
i see only one problem.....the texture of the chiers

i used 3dsmax 5.0 when modeling. the camera is brazil's fish-eye camera. in lightning, i used two area light, one is at the back of the window which simulates sunlight, it is photon mapped (about 25000 photons). that area light has very small dimensions for making shadows smooth at later areas. the other light is from the back of the camera. it's dimension covers full at height and width. and it is photon mapped too. (about 10000).
it is rendered 3200x2400. the render time is about 3 hours in amd 2400 athlonXP, 1gb ddr ram and geforce fx 5600ultra.

Great image in little rendering time
The light seems very good althought I think that it's dificult to work with BRAZIL Photon mapping how do u set your search radius?
Can u tell me something about parameters ?
Is totally GI or Gi faking?
No artifacts congratulations and at high resolutions in short rendering time!:applause:
Excuse so much questions
bye
What do u think about a tutorial on Brazil usage for the interiors?

thanks for the comments.
the search radius is 5 meters and it is a little bit less than the width of room. and photons in estimate is 5000. main photon energy is 2.5
the outside light source's intensity is 1.5, 25000 photons and 3.2 power.
the back light's intensity is 0.5, 8x4 meter dimension, 15000 photons and 1.5 power.
all lights drop shadows, and illuminates both specular and diffuse maps.
it is not totally gi, because i used two area lights with photon mapping. the outside light seems to be the main light source, but it is not. the back light mostly illuminates the scene. there is no bounce light.
i read that tutorial carefully, but when i am preparing the lights of this scene, i just tried several times to illuminate best. when i catched the right intensity, i rendered big one, totally basic.
is there anything wrong in my scene?
thanks a lot

Nothing wrong in your work
It's all very good
Thanks for the reply

It's all a bit flat in colors
Maybe some more depth via atmospherical lighting, difference in details up front. Something to give it 'depth'...
Otherwise looks great.

I agree with "Corny".
There needs to be some atmospherics added... maybe just a hint. Question- is there a large window behind the camera because there is a heck-of-a-lot of light coming from that direction? The mystery light from behind the camera almost detracts from the light streaming in from the glass door and window. Also (I understand the render effects) there is not much shadow under the couch and chairs. There is not enough to ground them.
I hope this has been somewhat helpful. It's a great piece!

yes you are right redsilas. there is nothing back of the camera, it is all open. but i can't illuminate interior without putting there a area light, instead of waiting hours of analyzing GI.
it is a little bit tricky and wrong but, i can't do anything. and because of that large area light, the shadows become unappear (very soft).
thanks for all comments, i am going to improve my lights and of course going to share with you. thanks a lot. :bounce:
