Fantastic work! really well presented and broken down as well. I particularly liked the work on The Mist, really seamless, as well as the shot of the truck driving along the road- looked like there was a lot of cleanup involved in that shot, and i can appreciate how difficult that can be!

No crits from me, all looked great- keep it up!

Brandon, you've got to stop man. You're making everyone look bad.

I usually don't critique really good work for just the sake of critiquing, but three things really stand out to me:

1. Where's your work on Nim's Island and Iron Man? I thought your work on Nim's Island was good. I haven't seen the work for Iron Man yet but I'm sure it's awesome. Have you been able to get releases yet?

2. I don't see some of your great earlier work like:

The Exodus Conspiracy (http://bkachel.com/exodus_01.html)
Desert Temple (http://bkachel.com/desert_temple_01.html)
Frozen Egypt (http://bkachel.com/frozen_egypt_01.html)
Neighborhood Aftermath (http://bkachel.com/neighborhood_aftermath_01.html)
Farmers Insurance (http://bkachel.com/farmers_01.html)
Planetfall (http://bkachel.com/snooze_bar_01.html)

I think that your current reel and these pieces show what great range you have. You can do everything, and ALL of your places have an "Invisible" quality to them, even your more fantasy pieces.

Again, awesome job.

3. The shot at approx: 1:53 has too much time in between the two matte painting "show offs", you might consider cutting this into two different clips. That one is hard though but I really feel it breaks up the flow of the edit.

Best of luck! Hope you get to work on some amazing stuff in the next few years.

Hey Brandon , Really amazing stuff you got here. And im glad you made front page , really well deserved. I have no crits , I am just looking forward to seeing some new stuff by you.

You should talk to the people at Gnomon about doing an invisible matte painting series. I would buy it in a heart beat.

Cheers dude!

Hello Everyone,

Thanks for the kind words on the reel, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.

mordecaidesign: I didn't add some of those shots to my reel, because I don't have the final comps, and some of those shots will be on my personal reel on my website.

Again thanks, cant wait to see what all of u are working on next.
