Hi, I am trying to do some kind of illustration here. Apart from some crapy sketches before this is my first try. Im a 3d modeler but decided to go all by hand (meaning wacom :-P)
So, I allready have some questions as to how to continue from here. Should I make some line work on top of this, start defines b&w shapes or adding color now? More than that, since my darkest tones are in the foreground, I cant understand how should I define shapes and colorize those things in the foreground properly. Thats all for now..Thanks people

ok...I find interesting the way you distribute values (a thing that I still can't do in the right way :D )
Now probably you'd need to add some shadows and lights to give the idea of volume; for what I think, it would be better to use blended shadows and not lines, since now.
I suggest you to have a look at Carlos Cabrera videotutorials, you can download them from it's website (for free :D ) : link (http://www.carloscabrera.com.ar/)

Waiting for your updates :)

Thanks for the tutorial links alicelefay.
So here is an update. I got rid of the robot cause of ruining up the composition in my opinion, and fixed the perspective of the fleets a bit.
Any opinions? Thanks!
