Hello all!
I'm trying to launch a render from command line and I want to skip the existing frames to save the time of calculating them again... With Software render there's the "-rep 1" option but this doesn't work with Mental Ray.
I was thinking on doing a preframe script where i can check if the file exists but i don't know how to skip the render of the current frame and pass to the next one... Does anyone know how to do this??

thaks in advance

it would probably be easier to find missing frames first, and submit render commands of just the missing frames, rather then trying to get the renderer to intelligently skip frames.

Thanks for the answer... that's the way we are finally going as we don't find the way of telling the renderer to skip a frame... the problem with this is that in some cases you want to execute the whole range of frames one after another but just rendering those you really need... (to save farm time)

thank you anyway
