Yup. I can't wait for the new DVD box set, "Quadrology". There was an ad for it in the Xmen 1.5 DVD set. It just said "2003". :bounce:

I'll go just so it does well so they do the same for Aliens. I'd love to be able to see that in a theater.

E.Z., in that very same article last sentence or two mentions James Cameron is preparing Aliens for re-release by next year:thumbsup:

Very cool! Will be great to get scared off my ass with a group of people vs. at home :D Wonder what they're putting back in though..hope it's taking the kind of care they took for instance with the Legend DVD and not just blindly adding all the footage they have.

On that note, I really hope the edition they release of Aliens is somewhere between the earlier 'extended cuts' and the current DVD..I still feel the scenes with Newt's family in the beginning really suck a lot of momentum out of the movie, and are only cool to see if you've already seen the movie in the first place. :hmm:

Speaking of restoration and Ridley Scott movies, anyone hear what the heck happened to the ultra special Blade Runner DVD they were supposed to be doing? They showed the restored edition of the film at a special event here, and then it just disappeared.
