yes i know there's a million other places where to talk about this, but that didn't stop Donald Trump from issuing his own line of beef steaks.

My impression so far is that Sony and Nintendo are ok, but Microsoft and the 360 are just dominating on all fronts.

GoW2 is just so flawless. I can find faults in anything and everything, but that game is just.....perfect....just perfect.

the biggest point I've taken from the show so far is that PS3 has lost the console race, PC is still sucking breath, and 360 is the new king.
Glad I bought a 360 :)

don't you know brown is the new black

Question is...is Nintendo even trying to make any games for the Wii, or they get enough money selling endless accessories?

How come lately everyone is starting to think PC gaming is dead?
Doesn't it always die down for a couple years after the release of the next generation of consoles? :S
My prediction is that over the next year or so the gap between high end gaming computers and consoles will get to a point where it's worth the developers time to target them. The way I see it PC gaming is just in a lull.

I have to admit GOW II does look pretty flawless, I wasn't that amazed by te 1st one (most of the aiming recticles were too big and it didn't feel like the bullets were really doing much) but it seems like they irond out most of the creases from there 1st attempt. I think the series is shaping up to be a halo replacement.

I think that its comments like what the Crytec guys said about how piracy hurts them so much that they will never concider doing a PC exclusive again that is pushing the idea that PC gaming is dead.

I happen to agree that PC gaming is taken a very hard blow because of the availability of internet piracy (I think the Crytec guys estimated that there where 20 illegal downloads per 1 unit legally sold.) but that doesnt speall death to the entire industry. Games who focus on a multiplayer "registered user" base kind of play still thrive on the PC game market. FPS's have been slowly phased out of favor in the pc market, but there is sill a strong "mouse and keyboard" following for the FPS genera so if the inovation, and at least an online play system that requires legally bought copies of the game to play, then I think there is still a market for the PC gamer, but it has definatly taken a blow over the years.

And while FPS's have faded a bit from the PC , Massive Multiplayer games, RTS's, and simulation games still thrive on the PC market.

So until games like Starcraft, World of Warcraft, and "Spore" or "The Sim's" find a suitable home on the home counsols, I highly doubt the PC market will ever stop being a viable market for these types of games.

uhhh...

The guns. Unlike the diverse weapons of Halo...the pistol fires one bright white particle. The assault rifle fires three bright white particles per burst. The shotgun fires five bright white particles that bounce off walls. And that mega space-cannon thing fires one huge bright white particle. And I used the chainsaw about thrice in my whole play through of the game.

The game which was about five hours long. Five hours which you spend leaping from concrete block to concrete block.

I could also bitch about the art direction, but thats fairly redundant considering GoW2's art style isn't bad at all.

I think this E3 was a horrible failure.
