Title: Waiting for the worst
Name: Viet Dinh
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

This painting is basically from a sketch i did in a boring-sleepy-working day =P..I wanted to draw a heroic yet normal working guy standing on the hill or something. The sketch was much simple and different from the result, but i'm happy with it though.

I like the use of red light in this image, although the bottom of the image is a bit confusing (I'm not talking about the close up shots). The hill seems too dark and alien, I'm quite intrigued as to what his standing on actually! :curious:

Good luck with your next images! :)

lol. thanks for the compliment.

Anyway, he's not standing on the hill but sitting on a collapsed building. The background is a city being destroyed by the comets. I guess it's a little bit confusing but that's how i wanted to express it. I'll try better next time, for sure. :)

I like the overall composite very much. The way he's sitting is perfect. Though I also wish the setup was just a bit more clear to the viewer.
