Hi! well, letīs make it short. Iīm tryin to do some sort of wave effect, where the floor distorts in an spherical way going from the center to the extremes of a mesh. The problem here is that I could make the wave easily with the wave modifier and softing a selection. so far so good. Now, when I try to bend the mesh to make a spherical expansion, only the vertex I selected are afected for the bend modifier. The question is:

How do I apply a modifier to a selection of vertex and then apply another modifier to the entire mesh????

Note: it is important to keep available the wave modifier so I can animate it. So forget about covert to after apply the wave. that would work, yes, but I couldnt animate it.

Thanx alot!!

That one is simple, if I read you right.

Just add a "Mesh select" modifier, select the verts to want affected by the following modifier, and you're all set. Now apply the modifier you wanted to be after the original one.

So it would look like this:

Bend
Mesh Select
Wave
Editable Poly

Hope that made sense.
