I'd buy that shirt! I'm a big fan of vector art as well and enjoy seeing quality pieces like this one being posted. The idea is basic enough that you could do hundreds of variations to it. I'm sure it would be marketable too... Good job! If you have any other vector art you should post it.

I had that idea too. Following the Jason Kid joke I could use a young Freddy Kruegger or a baby Scream killa. Problems would arise when trying to licensing. I don't think film companies would be so nice as to give me the proper rights for such a bussines.:rolleyes:

Anyway, I would never have guest this was a Jason kid joke and wouldn't have thought a licensing problem until you mentioned the word 'Jason'. If you had put this on a t-shirt and sold it, I think you wouldn't had much of a problem.

With a Freddy/Scream kid, the association would be a lot stronger. So you would probably run into problems more so with these kids, when it comes to money being made.

I've seen other drawings using the mask/knife combo and Jason hasn't come to mind. Maybe it's I'm not a fan of jason films?

Anyway, like your style !! Why not invent your own kid?

Well, jokes apart, thank you very much for your comments, boys.
If I ever have a good idea for a gore character I'll give it a try, but this one was just for fun, so I think my next post will be something completly different. The only thing for sure is that it will be vector art. Feeling comfortable with it, lately, specially the inking of my drawings improves a lot. You shouldn't take a look at my sketchings, they really suck...
