Guys i'm stuck in some part of a design & thinking about doing it using Nurbs or Loft or cross-section modifier. it is some sort of small glass container that consists of 2 different cross-section at the edges separated by a long space of morphing between (by morphing i mean the transition between them )
the 2 curves are attached with the thread..
my questions are :
when i draw them using splines & then converting them to nurbs..one of them is converted correctly in one complete cv curve.. but the other spline is converted to many cv curves..the overall shape is correct but the curves are separated into segments & i have to use the "join" button to join them cv by cv..this problem happens to me all the time when i convert the splines to nurbs.
about loft : i use the 2 curves with a straight line the represents the height of the shape..the result i get is a deformed jagged surface..al though the start vertices of the 2 curves are coincident & the curve flow is in the same direction (no reversing needed).
about cross-section modifier.. i thought it would be perfect but the same result like loft.. should the both splines be consisted of the same numbers of vertices ??..
sorry for my bad english..i hope my explanation is clear enough for you guys.
