OMG that looks hideous! Maybe it looks better animated then it does as a still. Those shots look nothing like the earlier shots I've seen. Hopefully this is just some sort of mistake. Blerg! :thumbsdow

Yeah i agree...!

I think there's a lack of style on the images! Spider look to "Boxed" and the costume looks very unfinished...

Let's wait and see the animation level... Maybe "live" it'll be another history!

By the way: Have you guys seen the "Baygon" lower on the page?
Hilarious for sure!!!

I think the real problem is they are toon shading it, but they seem to have forgotten that a real toon show doesn't have murky greys in it. The colours are really bland, hopefully they turn up the saturation before this goes on tv.

But I won't pass judgement until I see it moving :D

These screenshot do not do the series justice. I have seen four completed episodes and bits and peices of most of the first season (having worked on two episodes) and I will state, unequivocally, that this show looks amazing! I believe it will mark a milestone in television animation and probably change the look of animated series in general. The richness of the 2D cell look combined with the flexibilty and perfect perspective of the computer renderings is well applied. The world is full of ambience (traffic, extras, etc) that were impossibly cost prohibitive to add to traditionaly animated series but which really bring life to the shows and let you know that you are seeing something that you haven't seen in television animation in the past. Post effects are used to great effect as well as some very comtemporary camera tricks used in many of todays action films, now made possible by computer technology and fully taken advantage of. Essentially what you end up with is a show that looks like a traditionally animated TV series but with feature film production values. I guess you can take my opinion with a grain of salt as I've already stated my personal connection to the project but I'm confident people will be tuning in to be blown away. Only time will tell.

I'm not sure where the screenshots came from, but it could be that they look murky if they were taken from an NTSC screenshot...

NTSC really sucks for colour trueness...

I sure hope so - it'd be great to see Minframe back up to the level they were at before. Hopefully if this does well, it'd allow them to go back to creating more original shows like Reboot and Beasties...:airguitar

Yeah, I'm certainly not writing it off until I see the actual show. I was just a bit confused of the new look as compared to the stuff they were showing last year.

I'll keep hoping!
