CGTalk - Need help with LCD

im looking for big LCD for CG work (obviously)

i donno what to get

looking for something betwin 26"-30"

now i noticed there are some screens that if u looking from the side u see it dark\dimmed

and some are glossy and wich i liked cause u can still see the true colors

so if im looking online for a glossy one, what exactly should i look on the technical details?

also

what do u think about NEC? 26?

If you had searched just a tad even in this forum you'd find plenty posts on this exact subject.
You want an S-IPS or very good S-PVA display.
Yes the NEC 2690wuxi with H-IPS A-TW Polarizer is as good as it gets for graphics.
Have in mind it is a Wide gamut monitor which may cause problems in applications that do not understand colour profiles.
Check out Prad.de and hard forums.
