hi, I started this illustration only as a "hair study" (it was not intended to be completed in any way .. and still it is not in fact), but - while adding and "expanding" the hair, I was supposed to add some more space around .. so it turned out this way in the end;
this pic is not quite a "style of mine", and in fact I still am not sure if I am satisfied with this one .. anyway, perhaps someone may like it though ..

really nice hair !

But,ankles are not too thick ?

hi Phillippe, thanks for your reply,
yes, you are absolutelly right .. this is exactly what I did not like about the image in the end - she should definitelly have a bit more slender figure, that might help a little in this case, I guess :)
well - since I did not plan to paint the entire body, I did not make/prepare any previous concept study for this image/her anatomy, nor used any ref for her (except for her left hand, in the end, while trying to figure out the correct hand pose according to the sea-horse position, forgot to mention before) ..
maybe I should have planned this painting a little bit better :)

Thanks for the close-ups. Hands and foots are not the most easy parts of a drawing, of course... ^___^;
