The word on the street in Hollywood is that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston's production company is set to remake "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory." "Wonka" creator Roald Dahl was reportedly never happy with the original movie, in which Gene Wilder played the lead role. Tim Burton may direct the new version.

bah, leave it alone, the original was great. No need to ruin something allready good with a remake.

Agreed. Some things should just be left as is. Is it supposed to get better if we inject some 3dcg into it?

I sure hope they dont do this. And if they do, I hope that they dont have Tim Burton direct. It just isnt a good match for Him or the movie.

my only suggestion(if you are out the listening tim)......loose the midgets

i hate those bandy legged little bastards...what a way to ruin a film

Well... given the original author was dissapointed with the original (read somewhere today he apparently weaped at how they chose to end it), and the authors family was pleased with Burtons work on James and the Giant Peach... I hope Burton rocks on.
