Wow, that was very hard, it took me about 1 second to figure out which one is the photo. The tree looks like an image, trees don’t have hair and therefore it looks not cool. Just check at the photo and work at you scene again.

People.. I knew nobody would mistake my render for a photo.. DUH! Geez.. I thought some of you had a sense of humor. It was merely a rhetorical question.

Anyway.. The (work in progress) scene has progressed some.. And I've still a ways to go. You can see the latest at the beginning of this thread.

Try to use some more light. Give it the same background color. And do something with your tree. trees are no teddy bears. Great idea to do it so, but there are better solutions for it.

The letters on the building are in the original less extruded. And the metal on the advertising stuff can be textured more like damaged metal.

Did you do already the top of the tree. It finish the picture a bit.
