Im trying to get some "realistic" looking liquid to blast up in the air. Ive tried to do it with path deformer pro but it needs more detail... more natural looking. Not just one blob of liquid blasting in the sky. I dont have the budget for real flow so thats not an option. And Ive also looked into DPIT nature stuff but not sure if that can get the look im going for.
Is it something that can be done with thinking particles? Or does anyone know of any other plug-ins out there that can achieve this?

Thanks for any help.

Your only solution would be using particules and metaballs.

Of course, this won't get you results on par with Realflow.

Hi,

probably not what you are looking for ... but in case you don't insist to do it all in 3D, you can also mix 2D splash footage with add-the-sea like I did in my diving contest: posting (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?p=4826584#post4826584)

... or direct link to diving ogre (http://gonzomatic.go.funpic.de/diving2/movie.php)

cheers,
Gonzo
