That's one ugly bastard ;)
I think he needs some crudely made seams somewhere on those scars, like he was sewing his own wounds ;)

Excellent stuff so far. I know it's early but I have a texture suggestion for the eyes...one dead eye and one normal one. IT would look really cool I think.

As i said b4 awsome, but i think that it would ruin the model to get too much into complexity modelling
A bit more simple should do it.
Keep on keepin on!

As aways, love you work. Big thanks for all your work funishing time-lapse vids for the community.
Are you using zbrush to add the detail that is not modeled? I somehow remember this being one of your techniques...perhaps I'm incorrect.
Anyway, great model.
Without sounding too much like a fanboy, you really do rock, man.
Great inspiration.

oooh great modelling. Excellent details! is it disp or bump? or all poly modelled ?:surprised

Very inspiring and eclectic to boot.
More and more artists are begining to understand how powerful ZBrush can be. Plus, your Miria skills, which were never in doubt, can be seen in the first image.

thats really nice man, im very much liking the paint effect you've given the flesh around the cuts, and the model is really believable.

Man. That's one of the amazing things about those mad scientists. They can cut and slice like a champion, but they can't sew worth a d*mn!
Nice model so far. Can't wait to see it fully textured. My one critique would be that the shoulders look a little under muscled for the amount of muscles in the neck. You may want to (a) soften the neck muscles a little to show less definition and more rounding from fat or flab or (b) add a little muscle to the upper shoulders.

jajajajajjea. very nice, iwas wondering if your using d the detail extraction method (thanks for dropin the links in the dino thread). keep goi. you should defenetly throw down some wires when your done. youve probably got the design knocked out. but it would be kill to see a fetus or something sticking off his shoulder or belly (like total recall). anyways nice work

yep agreed. actually any area that still appears "smooth" on the model is rather unfinished :) so areas like the head-n-shoulders :)

OMG, ambient-whisper, I'm so sorry. That's heart-breaking.
Any chance you could send the drive to a recovery place to get back all your hard work? I don't think the cost is really prohibitive. Well, at least not for some.
I think it usually runs anywhere from $200 - $1500 depending on the scope of the problem, and the size and complexity of the drive, though I've personally never seen it about $400.
Just a thought.
Again, I'm sooooo sorry to hear that. Nothing else to say...
It is indeed a dark dark day.

I think it looks great! Have you heard of Van Helsing? A movie coming out next year from Universal. I've had the opportunity to check out the 3D model of their version of Frankenstein. Eek!!! I think you all have been drinking from the same bottle. If I speak any more of it, I may be hunted down. Just thought I'd give you something to look forward to...hehe.
