hi, im pretty new to the community, not the ""poster"" type clearly. But im desperate..i need the best possible book concerning "cartoon drawing", I know its a very difficult question ..but it would be great if the intrested ones could comment on their book of choice, and reasons for being one. Take into account that i need to start from basics..because i know how to draw, at least people enjoy watching my work. But i need to learn basic strategies, technique, cartoon anatomy, refine my style..and more. Like all of you, i admire pixar..dreamworks..bluesky..sony..etc and specially their cartoon style..so that will work as a reference to the style im into. bare in mind that i make 3d models of all my drawings..well the good ones..

thanks in advance

Hello

try looking at these, they are on 2D but help deal more with doing cartoonish animation than 3D creation of characters that look like 2D ones.

The Animator's Survival Kit
and
Cartoon Animation

both about $20 USD

And a book most people who like doing animation have
The Illusion of Life: Disney Animation

Pricey at $45-60 USD
Check at Amazon for more
