it rocks. i'd like to see more of your idea of his character, though. do an updated version of him as a boar-beast-guy-thing..

thanks for the reply.
yeah i guess i should try to work on something more detailed.
i've always used photoshop to do really
rough, blurry, idealistic things.
i never got how to make things detailed yet having depth
at the same time...
btw Helix. your avatar looks exactly like ganondorf.
other than the face. ;)

id like to see more of your stuff, i think its an interesting piece in a kind of uninteresting way, people with 14"s arent scrolling over to see the 'focal' point and i cant blame them really, it hardly leads the eye and composition well....n/a
for what it is i guess its ok
i can see potential, just dont be afraid to post characters in full environments with texture, pose, dynamism, colour, brushwork etc.. give us something to crit and we will.
the blurry style isnt the most desirable of techniques, think carefully about shape and finding the edge of forms. grr i wanna give u crit but i cant til i see braver work.
keep going, and sketch EVERY day.

i know what you mean.
this was just meant to be a wallpaper, not a perfectly
balanced piece of art.
and well because of the darkness,
you can't see the little details unless there's absolutely
no outside light bouncing off your screen.
too bad i guess. :p
my biggest problem is i never learned how to express
realism in photoshop.
:annoyed:
i'll just go experiment now.
i finished a rough sketch of the pig-form of ganon,
and i'll work on it more before posting.
this time it won't be a wallpaper. ;)
thanks for the replies.

Erm Rendering Filters -> Add clouds?
No offence, but keep your hands away from the filters, they will ruin your work if not set up propperly. Try to create something individual which nobody can reproduce by pressing some buttons. Anyway it's nice to see that even people at the age of 14 begin with cg (how they can afford Photoshop 7.0 is an other toppic). I see potencial, just keep going, become more individual and unique, develope your own style and avoid (noticable) filters.
