View Full Version : Short Film - Jonny Walker
lipuster 07-08-2008, 11:00 AM Hi evreybody,
http://www.vimeo.com/1298021
This is my first short film. I just finished my B.tech degree and worked on this film in my spare time during my final year. Except the music, everything in this film is original work and took me about six months time. The production process was very exhausting and I learnt a lot in the process. I hope you like my movie and provide valuable c&c .
Thank You all.Cheers!

Well I can honestly say it's definitely a unique Idea and story, which isn't bad, I mean I think it's great that people try and create diverse films; but all in all, it was a series of walk and run cycles, I mean I know you had those shots where he did infact step away from them, and interact with the mediator as well as his environment. Something was bothering me about the design of his fists and feet, I don't quite know they just felt a little large. I suppose even though there were these particularities if you had them differently it would of affected your story, so good job in maintaining congruency. I just think you need to show a little more variety in your next film. Keep at it!

pretty interesting and some good animation. I really like the backgrounds but, I'm not sure I would call this a short flim though, there was never really any character developement, he just kept walking while everyone was running. What was his reason for walkin? Why was everyone else running? Not sure i really understood who the character was by the end of the movie.
And the end didn't tell me anything besides that you wanted to stop working on the film. It made the idea seem even more unclear. I think you have some interesting stuff that needs to be explored more and fleshed out so that your idea comes across better.
Good luck with your next animation.
