View Full Version : Character: Little Evil
ShinChanPu 05-26-2003, 09:19 PM Hi everyone! This is the first thread I post, and Iīd like to read all your critiques or comments. I designed, modeled, rigged and animated this character for apply to my present job. I used 3DS MAX 4.0 on a 400 Mhz K6-II. I didnīt textures because I wanted a complete cartoon look (and because is my weakest skill).
Thank you.

Thanks to everybody for your posts. Iīm surprised of having only good comments due to the very high level of the images posted in CGTALK.
Teyon, yes, it may be funny in motion, but animate it doesnīt : I had serious problems due the hughe head and the limited armsīlength (Character Studio didnīt allow animate bones size at that time).
Iīm sorry, Sean is not posible by now. The files are too big to post here and I havenīt got my own website (yes, everyone should, I know). You must know that I have Internet from March, and my job STEAL me too much time. And to be honest, the animation is not my strongest skill, I am learning the basics now...

Well that's okay, you just keep making these cool characters and we'll keep coming back until you finally animate 'em for us. :)

I agree with Teyon.
Once again, nice character. Pity we didn't get to see him animated, but then you can't have everything in life.

Thank you very much Carlos, you are very kind. Yes, I made some sketches previous to start modelling, I allways do. Itīs important to me having as clear as possible the concept of the character, the environment... I hate improvising. But Iīm affraid I canīt post it, because Iīve lost it. I suppose it must be between hundreds of sheets of quick drawings in my studio. I promise to look for it...
Thanks and sorry, Carlos.

I found it!!!!!
As usually, you find things, when you are not looking for them...
I hope you like it Carlos.
Note: This is a very quick sketch, made only for me. So donīt care about accuracy.
