Hello,
I'm new here. I'm trying to create an animated electrical activity map on a neuron. I want something similar to this: http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/ready-neuron-electricity-activity-3d-model/407100.
I am working in 3DS Max 7.
I've done a lot of searching on the web and can't find anything. Thank you!

I am a newbie myself and I wont be able to help.

However your message is fully unclear.

What is it that you are looking for? the 3D file itself, or help with completing the file?

Maybe you should specify it a bit further and surely someone will give you some tipps.

Use a noise map or smoke map(or a mix of both) for diffuse and selfillumination.

Thanks scrimski. I created a neuron model, so now I want it to look like "bluish" electricity is flowing over it. I'll try utilizing smoke/noise map for diffuse & self-illum.
