View Full Version : Echo Trailer
sandidolsak 07-07-2008, 08:56 PM Hello,
here is a quick result of a weekend project to present some stuff possible with a plugin called Echo - its build to bring sound driven animation to a new level with ease of use and accuracy regarding the extraction of data from sound.
Hope you enjoy the trailer and please forgive me my poor AE skills =)

This looks really cool - is the plugin available commercially yet?

Looks cute. How does it differ form the Mograph Sound Effector which is also very powerful?

Its based on similar concept as Response (if anyone remembers that plugin... 3dattack - darf?), so its totaly diferent workflow to start with...
The thing is that its very specific thus taking into account much more then maxon did with mographs effector... There will be an effector version of echo for mograph in near future so comparison will be much easier =)

Looks interesting. I use Response all the time (in 9.5; see White Noise and others at www.dennismiller.neu.edu) so I am looking forward to seeing this. Looks like you can set a bunch of "probes" to isolate the activity in specific frequency bands? Hope you can make those very narrow (20 Hz or so on the narrow side) and that there is no limit on the number of probles you can have. Also, the scaling and offset in Response (min/max) is very handy... love to see that as well.
Let me know if you need beta testers (lots of experience there).
And what are you thinking for price?
Best.
Dennis

development started shortly after response went down so you can get the picture how many pauses there were =) its near finish - cosmetics left to do
Count me in! I bought response but after switching to R10 it became useless. So this is great news
