Still working on my facial modeling. I 'think' I am happy with the model unless anyone can point out some real bad proportional errors.

Working on the face texture. As I have NO experience in 2D, this is quite an undertaking for me.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

i think the bridge of the nose looks a little thin and the nose looks a little long, i think you need to go back and look at those two things defenintly

You were absolutely right about the nose. I had been working so long on a texture that I overlooked the simplest of things.

I updated the texture to have a little more...well...texture.
Updated the nose, repositioned the eyes and made them wider, updated the bottom lip and chin(a little).

Look better? Any more suggestions?

Another Update. I better finish this thing soon because it looks like you guys are tired of the faces in this place. :)

I reshaped the top of the head, closed her mouth, little texture work, gave her some more volume to her cheeks, and reduced the size of her cheek-bones to a more realistic shape.

More suggestions! Please...I am teaching myself this stuff so I need all of the help I can get. Feel free to comment on the texture too as I really want to make a more photorealistic skin.

Thanks

It looks good so far.

Show some wire;)

Maybe you could take a look at the sharp lines. It looks now that she is very skinny. Bones with skin. This is what I see in the front view of your render. The side view look good. It also look that there is a little hole next to her lips.

Keep on going, the maps is going the good way.

Nice start. It's kinda hard to visualize until you get her some ears, but I overlayed a reference image (from Drawing the Head and Hands by Andrew Loomis (http://www.fineart.sk/anat.htm) ) and it looks like the nose may be a little on the long side and the mouth too low going by that (see below)...
