I'm going through the Joan of Arc tutorial and ran into something a little vague that I figured I'd ask about.

The fourth panel down, when he says, "make the spotted line invisible," I assume he means hide the edge that's created, but I'm not sure exactly what he's asking. So if you could spew forth your modeling knowledge, I would appreciate it.
