View Full Version : Does the Preview Range work in 8.1?
Mars_Artis 05-26-2003, 05:29 PM in my manual at page 562 describes the use of the Preview range using blue pointers.
Well in 8.1 i don't see any blue pointer...
how to use the range preview? is still there?
and what are those green pointers in the timeline rulers?

I believe those green pointers would be what the manual refers to as "blue" pointers. :)

i thought so, but even if i move those sliders to se an in point for prev and an end point aswell, when i click play button i get the full range of frames...
but maybe that slider only affects the "make preview" command, am i right?
another question:
i would like to organize the obects in the time line so that i can easily find them.
Apart the layer colors i read in manual the Combining animation in Motion Group, but this function seems no more there.
Any new method???
Hi,
you first have to switch to "Animation->PlayMode->PreviewRange". Then the PreviewRange is considered when playing. If you prefer setting the Range numerically, download "SetPreviewRange" from my Website.
And adressing your second question: Motion mixing now is a part of the Mocca Module and organized via the "MoMix Object".
cheers mnu
