View Full Version : A question for experts...
ronaldomiranda 05-26-2003, 03:16 PM i am modeling a spherical caracter.
But i put a lot of polygons in some parts, so i "loose
control" over some parts...
Can i select a row of polygons and then,
ALIGNE with a rounded figure in background, like a Circle?
I am pretending to get a "spherical" alignment of some faces
Thanx a lot

mmhhhh.. i think u can use a plug called Background conform.
u can select points of your model in a layer, then go in another layer and make a circle with the same number of points and put in background. ( first layer full active, and the 2 half active)
with the plug, the points u selected on the model will assume the position of points of the circle.
hope this can help in some way.

hi,
I think you can manually align point-by-point with the snap tool using a second object as a reference... without plugins...
I don't think this is the best way to go..... but it should work...
good luck!
