Heres a little something I'm working on at the moment. Theres obviously no park in the pic yet. After I finish the buildings I plan on putting some trees, a rusted swing set, and one or two of those horses on big springs that you sway back and forth on(obviously I forget what the heck they are called). I plan on putting it behind the building in the pics..near the fence.

I'll be working on the spec map for the building tomorrow afternoon. So theres only a normal and diffuse on it right now.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, its still a WIP.

Are you tiling the concrete? The texture looks a bit off.
I also noticed some of the graffitti behind the electrical boxes; might want to shift the orange guys face down a bit. (Unless they were put in after the fact)
The top of the building, the border texture seems too low of a res, it's clashing with the bricks.
Are you going to use Ambient Occlusion at all?
What engine is this for?
Looking good so far....

I actually added geometry on the ground so the glittery look and seams on the ground are actually a product of me not fixing the Uvs, assuming you are talking about whats near the bottom of the screen.

The grafitti..heh. I already had 3 people mention it needs to be worked on, its just to clean. As for AO, I'll actually be doing it last and tweaking over the rest of the maps. After pointing out the roof I might need to go back and check my UVs...I coulda sworn they were even...but not they look pixelated...damn power of suggestion :).

Engine...at the moment this is all being done in Maya and only maya. I have yet to get my hands on any engine editor to throw it in.

thanks for the comments.

edit: I just noticed the textures are obviously different in the first three pics form the last two. The roof texture is actually different on the last two pics.

Well I was able to put some time in last night since the windows reinstall. I tweaked the grafitti and did the normal maps on the props in the first image.

Keep in mind I have only done the diffuse and spec on the front of the dumpster ONLY. Every other piece only has a normal map on it. There really isnt much to crit on it since theres not spec or diffuse on 95% of it I just felt like posting an update.

Heres a new update from this weekend and what time I could put in last week during work. I still have to do the spec on the building on the left but other then that I'll be finishing the fridge and moving on to the park that will be on the far right. The last image is with default lighting and the other three have a small 5 light set up for the light poles, the ""moon light"", and the light above the door.

Let me know what you think.
