Hey people..
Does anyone know how max 4 handles vertex data. I.e vertices that have had modifiers applied to them like skin, linked x-form etc. Im working on this facial rig, and i get wierd fluctuations in the skinning. Sometimes the rig is super fast next its slow as anything! Is it handled on per whats in the viewerable scene ,etc.
Do vertices gain some hidden transform? when things are applied to them?
Ive used maya, and xsi and they seem to handle it really well, but max seems bit flakey. When multiple vertices are read how is the data stored etc?
