Hello Everyone

The beta 2 version of Artizen HDR is now available for download. Beta 2 does not have all of the features that will be available in the final version, but has the majority of changes applied.

Please post all your feedback and questions so that we can make this version as good as it can be!

Below is a list of the features present in beta 2;

beta 1
- New Graphic User Interface
- New work flow.
- New Auto Alignment algorithm when creating HDR files.
- Phase 1 of new merging algorithm when creating HDR files.
- New support for upto 32 exposures when creating an HDR file.
- New Dramatic Tone Mapping Operator based on Lock05.
- Reduce memory usage.
- Better Performance Right across the board.
- Only SSE2 support.
- New Vignette functionality.
- Major Core Enhancements.
- Many updates and bug fixes.

beta 2 additions
- New Batch Processor for both LDR and HDR images.
- Reduce memory overhead by 60% when work in HDR.
- Support for 32 MP HDR files.
- Faster workflow.
- Boosted Dramatic Tone Mapping Performance.
- Major wide spread HDR Core Updates.
- New Tone Mapping Architecture

Now to address some of the questions ppl have;

- Lock06 and Cipher are still under development and will be available in beta 3.
- Video Tutorials will be made available soon.
- Only SSE2 support will be available in all future versions.
- Artizen 2.5.36 will still be available for download.
- This is a free update to all registered users.
- Beta 3 will be available in 2 - 3 weeks.

Now Although the Dramatic Tone Mapping operator can obviously produce dramatic results it can also be toned down to produce very natural results.

A revision to beta 2 was just uploaded that included the Cipher and Natural Tone Mapping operators.

If the default values look a little off on either Cipher or Natural, you may want to confirm that the Levels values are set properly by simply clicking the Reset button located at the top right corner of the Levels tool.
