Once you set up your views, they are there until you change them. So if you exit the program with you 4 view layout, then reopen it... it will open back with the 4 view layout.

You MAY, need to just maximize screen...other than that you shuld be fine.

All setting are saved in a "Preferences" file, and even on uninstalling the program to load up the next version, the "Preferences" file stays put, so that you wouln'd have to reset up your layout.

If the issue is to get wings to open with the correct window layout AND for the windows to be set to the required views (XYZ, persp) upon opening ........... then I don't think you can - other than pressing XYZ (or whatever) in the appropriate window after opening.

i think i know how to do it, but i'm not sure i clicked on window then click on New Geometry Window and it opens up a new window with your object in it. hope that works.

I already have that, the problem is keeping it knowing which angle its looking in each one.

As I said before - afaik - you can't (at the moment)

In current state of the app you basically can't tumble in XYZ (ortho?) views - because as soon as you do they'll become persp views.

Only thing I might suggest (if not already doing it) is to activate the 'Force axis- aligned grid' option in prefs for the 3 ortho views as a visual reminder?

(Can of course change the grid colour so's it's not too intrusive)
