Hi
The green go away only when your color image contain an alpha channel on it, ie in one single RGBA file (.tga, .tif, .iff, .png etc.. )
in your case you are applying a mask to the transparency channel, not the alpha!
like the picture here:http://img45.imageshack.us/img45/1530/testuj9.jpg
so build your alpha channel in single file RGBA, and it should work without any pb!
