apologies if this Q is posted somewhere else, i had a look around and couldn't find it. I'm currently using cs2 so if this prob has been solved in 3 let me know.
I've found that editing an image near its edge, particularly when zoomed in, can be slightly fustrating. In general it would be nice to be able to 'drag'(using the hand tool) around an image so that the part you are editing is in the centre, whether that part is actually at the edge of the image or not.
This is particularly a problem when using the transform tool. Say if you have a small layer located on the edge of the LHS of the image and want to stretch it horizontally outwards, in order to reach the transform control points on the left i have to zoom out so much that it becomes hard to judge that transformation.
Is there a setting i've missed where this can be changed, or is this something that cannot actually be changed?
