Here i have done some walking practice
1st one is ---simple walk
2nd one is walk slow, and fast and then slow down
please comment and critique on my work for more improvement
Here i have only show walking steps.

ok the feet are done, now on to the rest of him. Unless this is for a specific project, I don't see how animating just the feet is helping you develop as a character animator.

Not bad!

It's difficult to watch such short clips on YouTube... If you can use quicktime it makes it easy to watch frame by frame. You might get better feedback that way.

One thing I like to see with feet is a more accented contact. Try this: find the frame where you know you want the foot flat. Then on the frame before it, have the front of the foot/toes up all the way (with the heal still down of course). It might seem odd, but it works well. Check out Richard Williams' book "The Animators Survival Kit".

With the walk that speeds up and slows down, it might be interesting to see the steps vary in size. For example, small steps for slow and large steps for fast. It could even work the other way. You know when you see animated characters doing that bizzare fast tip toe thing? They travel a short distance, but they're moving fast.

Just a few suggestions.
