In C4D 8.5 and 9 there was a plugin called "rulertools"
It doesn't exist anymore, but is there an alternative?
The " measure & construction" command cann't be rendered and I need measurements in one of my projects.

Check C4D-Jack's (http://www.c4d-jack.de/html/home_index.html) QuickDimensionTools. They might be renderable, you will need to check.
