View Full Version : 3dsmax saveNodes on renderfarm?

Hi All,
Is it possible to save geometry from a file doing a net render?
We're trying to use saveNodes to save geometry processed using a #preRenderFrame callback. There is no result from the command on the farm but it works fine locally.
We're using backburner as a render manager and 3dsmax 2008 32 and 64 bit.

Any help is appreciated.

I know there are some limitations on the use of some maxscripts, but I can't find a list which they are exactly... But I wouldn't be to surprised if that was one of them!

Yeah it looks like writing the geometry with vertex colors to a text file may be the best way to go.
