i don't see it documented in R8 manual nor in 8.1 addendum.
i've tried to launch it, but what if i want to stop? the esc command seems ineffective

It's on page 527 of the manual.

Its basically an optimized setting render aimed at crapy but fast results for previewing animations. now if they could get the same speed to quality ratio that paul has in sniper I might actually use it. but sniper pro has the ability to save images while your working so you can see rendered tests with it, but not realy of niation uless I did something wrong

You can choose between an Editor preview and a Render preview...(basically shaded or iso-view). I find it very helpfull with animations. As far as making it stop.....good question. I usually just have to choose "Make preview" again. You will then be asked if you want to cancel the current render, choose "yes" and then cancel.

Hope that helps.

umm dude I don't have a clue in heck how you have R8.1 with the r7 manual installed.

however the clipping you posted is from the R7 manual. I just checked.

make sure you are using the R7 and not R8 manuals.
