I have just see the Messiah DOC
See the tutorials\effect&tool types\softbody Dynamics\beginner\

This tutorials is very simple, and very easy to finish it.
but, I don't understand it.

Cloth works with skin?
and no needs to define which surface or vertex is the cloth ?

So,I create a plane with maya, exprot as obj.load in to messiah, and do the samething, add a softbody Dynamics to it,

And,of course, it doesn't work.

and there's an error message appear:
Object has no matching soft surface defined

Here's the question,How to defined soft surface?

I did a whole video tutorial (http://www.eggprops.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16206&category_id=261) on how to simulate cloth with soft bodies a few years back.

You'd probably save a lot of time by watching that through a few times.

Wegg, I was planning on downloading that next... (as soon as I trace my rigging problems to ground). $29 for the vids and models seems like a good deal...

Question: Do any of the new features in Messiah 3 change the workflow you show in the videos?

Nothing has changed with 3 that would lead me to assume that anything has changed from when I made the video. Your safe.
