I came across this site and was wondering where I could find a plug-in that does this? I've been googling, but not much luck at the moment.

http://www.fashionschool.com/computer-fashion-design.htm

The site says that they use some special plug in. It doesn't seem to be available on the site. I was wondering where I could find it(or something similar) or if Photoshop does this already, how do I do it?

Yeah, I don't know much about the fashion industry, but this tool they use to get patterns on folds by using a grid and moving points and edges around looks useful.

Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of it, but you can look at the transform menu (and the mesh deform options available since CS2(?) ), the liquify filter which seems to correspond a little, and if you have the chance, I'd go the Illustrator way as it can distort bitmaps as well as vectors.

Cheers

It looks interesting but after seeing the price US$ 716, suddenly I lost all interest in it.

Anyway you can do it the hard way using displacement map filter that's built-in Ps.

Yeah no kidding. It's just a plug-in too from the looks of it.

Thanks for the help guys.

Wow! that is a hefty price for just a Bezier warp mesh. Jeesh.

I'd be willing to pay maybe $100 but $700 is way too much. Sigh. I could really use it too. I made lots of digital clothing for SecondLife. I've used the displacement map filter, liquify and warp - nothing is seamless and they all have their faults. Oh well.

You can easily create/define your own pattern, activate it under layer styles, rasterize it and mesh deform that layer. You absolutely don't need a plugin for that.

I think you misunderstood - I mean the bezier warp pattern as in columns and rows. You cannot define the number of each you are stuck with 3 columns and 3 rows in Photoshop no matter what. In aftereffects you have to option to increase or decrease that amount for the warp tool. Which is what that plug-in does.
